When it comes to dust collection for DeWalt tools check out the DWV9000 universal connector with its twist lock swivel action. It will thread onto a 1 1/4″ vac hose like that of the DeWalt 20V Vac or pair it with the DWV9190 to adapt it to a common 2.5″ vac hose.
I recommend buying the more expensive DeWalt branded versions linked to here. If not there are cheaper knock offs but those seem to have a higher return rate.

The thing that is missing is what hose actually works with these adapters. I have ordered and returned a half dozen different hoses that were described as 1-1/4″ from Amazon and other places and not a single one fits.
Yeah, hose sizing is a little wonky. The DeWalt 1-1/4″ hose is actually 1-9/16″ outside dimension (OD) with a connector that’s 1-3/16″ to fit 1-1/4″ accessories. 1-1/4″ should be the call so not sure how to order otherwise.
Outside of the DeWalt 1.25″ hose, I use the DWV9000/9190 combo with RIDGID 2.5” hoses, which have 2.25″ OD connectors to fit 2.5″ accessories. I also use it with RIDGID 1-7/8” hoses via the RIDGID 1-7/8″ to 2-1/2″ cuff adapter.
